Biography

Keizo Nanri received his PhD from the University of Sydney in Linguistics. His research interests include systemic functional linguistic theory, discourse analysis, analysis of symbiotic relationships between politicians and political news reporters, ideological studies of texts, and cognitive psychology. He joined the Center for International Education and Research at Oita University in March, 2007.

Current Research

He has currently been working on, among other things, the construction of a linguistic semiotic model that can handle ideology with the assistance of cognitive psychology. The linguistic semiotic model is a model that attempts to explain the process of text generation.
